Getting around

The Heldrich hotel, where many of the participants will be staying, is a 15-20 minute walk from the Rutgers Academic Building, where the talks will be taking place. The Mathematics Department is located in the Hill Center Building on Busch campus. To go between campuses, it is recommended to take advantage of the free campus shuttles. You can find a map of relevant locations, as well as a link to information about the campus shuttles below:

Parking Update

We have been given permission for participants to park in lots on the College Ave Campus, in lots 11 (https://goo.gl/maps/SMARxdyGQ7r), 26 (https://goo.gl/maps/YNKDGvVW97S2), 30 (https://goo.gl/maps/ZQA5o1zu1As) or College Deck (https://goo.gl/maps/gWXJJVnKziJ2). Lot 11 is particularly close to the Academic Building.

We have been advised that there might be some significant demand on these lots, however, due to a half marathon starting around 8am, which starts and ends close to lot 11.

Parking Alternatives

Pay parking near the hotel is available at the Morris Parking deck (https://www.njnbpa.org/parking-info/parking-rates/). The lot is at the corner of New Street and George Street, with the entrance on New Street, between Livingston Ave and George St).

The Gateway Garage, is located a few blocks away, a bit closed to the Academic Building, with an entrance at 7 Wall St, just behind the New Brunswick train station. The rates at the Gateway Garage are the same as those at the Morris Deck.

Alternately, one can very often find free street parking just across the Raritan river in Highland Park, which is a roughly 25 minute walk from the conference site and hotel. Walking directions from Highland Park to the conference center are at this link: https://goo.gl/maps/KQqZRC8PkxQ2.

Parking near the Hill center (where the Mathematics department is located) is available in front of the Rutgers visitor center at 100 Sutphen Rd. Walking directions from the visitor parking to the Hill center are here: https://goo.gl/maps/i6GjiFAhRPq.
