About AGNES
AGNES is a new series of weekend workshops in algebraic geometry. One of our goals is to introduce graduate students to a broad spectrum of current research in algebraic geometry. AGNES is held biannually at the
participating universities in the Northeast.

The first workshop was held at Stony Brook on Oct 30 - Nov 1, 2009. It attracted over 80 participants.
